one of my students gave me guppies, three of them to be exact. as a class, we settled on some names by popular vote: mini, yoshi, and fish vader. names are also given in size order from smallest to biggest. i had to bring them home this weekend for fear of the guppies starving to death over the long weekend. i just looked up information on guppy care and it looks a lot more involved that i imagined.

my coworker used to have guppies in the office (they have since died) but when i saw them, i was like, "cool! guppies!" and she corrected me and said, "no... they are 'goopies'". i think i told this story to a few people cuz i believed her and then someone asks if she is a fob and realized that she is! guuuuupies it is!
