today was a long, but super duper fun day. after church, i stopped by the u-district to pick up singapore fried noodles, also known in some circles as singapore street [or style] noodles. i just knew that i would be able to find a good place to get the noodles from the many asian resources at church. naturally, i was about 15 minutes late to kristie's party, because i seem to be late for everything. if people are indeed able to be defined by their punctuality, then i'm defined quite badly. sad. the food at the party was wonderful and there are lots of leftovers...yay for us at the house! and bowling was lots of fun too because i won a prize for having the most '8s' in my bowling scores. kristie's birthda is 8/8 - see the connection? i was a contender for highest single bowling score with my 139, until kristie's sister stacey demolished my dreams of victory with a 146. after bowling, we went back to the house to eat some more and to play games. we played tribond in teams and kristie's team, which included dennis and me, won! happy birthday kristie! i love games, especially trivia driven games, but not everybody seems to love these types of games as much as i do... :) pictures of the party can be seen here. it's a lot of fun having parties and people over at the house. living in a house is great.
