i've had a full day. i had my very first facial at inSpa at uvillage with grace. then we went to lunch at westlake with jen and yee-fan, where yee-fan bought some dude lunch in an act of random kindness. random dude was being kind of picky and difficult, like, ordering something, having yee-fan paying for it, and then saying that he didn't want it. umm...i think if someone is committing an random act of kindness, it's probably best not to be a jerk about it. i don't think i would have been as patient, but that's me. sadly, we are the very ones being picky and difficult and yet, God is patient with us. thank goodness God is not like us.

after lunch, grace and i went shopping downtown and then made a brief stop at pike place market and the first starbucks. 'twas a fun time. in recent weeks, i've taken time to go shopping. there was a period of time [the first 3 years of college] where i would go downtown or alderwood mall weekly. they have most recently been replaced by target/best buy/costco - my trifecta [i know i'm using trifecta incorrectly, as it pertains to the betting of something in sequence, but i'm making my own meaning because i can] of shopping fun.

and even better, i don't work tomorow either!
